CGI 3D Animated Short Film: "The Nubes - Round One " - by Blaze Productions
I would say Squash and Stretch happened at 1:48 because it involved jumping and strechting of the character.
Anticipation Occurred at 1:04 and 2:07 to 2:14... Where the bug was suddenly squashed. It was shown again between 2:07 and 2:14 when the character was slowly kicking towards the next character.
Staging Occurred at 1:11 and 1:22.. I would say because both characters where having a conversation and the camera went around them at different angles.
Follow Through i would say occurred at 2:27 to 2:34 where the characters were overlapping and fighting each other.
Slow in and Slow out at 0:12... I would say this is the right principle because has to do with cross motions

ReplyDeleteExcellent catch with the squash and stretch but I'm not too sure about the Aniticipation at 1:04 or 2:07 to 2:14. I more feel the anticipation at 2:00 when he is preparing to jump. I'm not sure why 1:11 was used for staging. Earlier in the video could have been used. I wouldn't use 2:27 for Follow Through. When they were fighting and swinging on the fan, the hair swinging afterwards is a good example of Follow Through. Ok cool for Slow In and Slow Out.
